Dr T.P. Lucas, a Brisbane botanist and medical practitioner, discovered the healing powers of papaw in the late 1800's. His famous topical ointment formula has remained unchanged for over 110 years.

Papaw is rich in papain and antioxidants, with antibacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. We hand select the finest papaws from Far North Queensland and ferment them in our Brisbane facility. Our natural fermentation process delivers the healing enzymes of papaw in a potent concentration.

Carica Papaya, Fresh Fruit (Fermented) 39mg/g

Contains no palm oil, glycerin, or sodium lauryl sulphate. Non-allergenic and non-comedogenic.

Usage

• Lucas' Papaw Ointment is a topical skin application to relieve symptoms of cuts, scratches, abrasions and minor wounds, insect bites, heat rash, mild burns, mild sunburn, skin cracking, nappy rash and chafing.

Directions

• Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected area as needed or directed by your health professional.
• If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
• Immediate treatment of burns should be application of cold water for ten minutes. Only to be used for minor burns after initial first aid treatment. Medical advice should be sought for serious burns.
• For external use only.
• Contains Potassium Sorbate
• Store below 30°C.
